About Aaron Murray
Described by sports critics as “a dual threat quarterback,” American baseball player Aaron Murray is just as adept with his legs as he is with his hands. He is best known as a former quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Early Life
A graduate of Plant High School, South Tampa, he grew up in Florida. As a result of his excellent playoffs in high school he got 53 scholarship offers.
University of Georgia
During the 2009 season, under coach Joe Cox, he was able to collect an 8-5 record and went in 4-4 at the South-eastern Conference. Georgia was named winner in 5 of 6 competitions 15 and recorded victories over Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. In the 2010 playoffs, he excelled with 3049 passing yards in 13 games setting a new record for the UGA freshman. From 2011 to 2012, he led the Bulldogs in consecutive SEC championships and a Capital One Bowl in 2012.
Accolade
He was named the 2013 Capital Bowl “Most Valuable Player.”
Trivia
He was teammates with Clemson Tigers’ quarterback, Tajh Boyd in the 2009 US Army All-American Bowl.
