Aaron is an American director, political activist and producer. His works on shows like, “The Rose” and “Trading Places”, especially made him gain popularity.
Personal Life
He was raised in a Jewish business family. The family business which involved working on undergarments was the beginning of his work life.
Political Career
Growing up, he started developing interest in politics. In 1998, he ran as a Republican for the position of governor of Nevada but came in second place. He went on to contest to be the presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party in 2004 but lost his nomination.
Entertainment Career
He started his own nightclub which he named Electric Theatre in Chicago. Eventually, he changed the name to Kinetic Playground. He was also the manager of different musical acts over a period of time. He then started working on shows and movies. In 1989, he was cast in the film “Rude Awakening” and was the director as well. He was also the producer of “Standing Room Only” and “The Bette Midler Show”.
Achievement
In 1978, he was nominated for the “Outstanding Special-Comedy-Variety or Music award” during the Emmys and won together with “Gary Smith”, “Bette Midler” and “Dwight Hemion”. The received the award for his work on “Bette Midler: Ol’ Red Hair Is Back”
Death
In August 2007, he suffered from complications relating to cancer and lost his life.
