Adam Wainwright spent a number of years in the minor league after he was drafted by Major League Baseball side, the Atlanta Braves, in 2000. He was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2005 and made his league debut later that year.
Mostly used as a pitcher, the American baseball star helped the team to win the World Series in 2006. His consistency and innings pitched have established him as one of the greatest players in the history of the Cardinals.
