Adolf Eichmann was a high-ranking member of Germany’s Nazi party during World War II. He was in charge of deporting the Jewish people to the concentration camps.
Legacy
Adolf is one of the most recognized names associated with the Holocaust due to his highly publicized trial, charged with war crimes. He had escaped from Germany following the war and was at large until 1960. He was apprehended in Argentina. He was taken back to Germany where he was found guilty of his horrific actions during the war. He was hanged in 1962.

His only excuse was that he was simply following the orders of his superiors. Adolf had 4 children that all went on to become college educated and have respectable professions and families.
