About Adrian Dantley
From 1976 to 1991, retired professional basketball player Adrian Dantley spent 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He debuted with the Buffalo Braves and followed it up with short stints with the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers.
His most successful run in the league was with the Utah Jazz, for which he played from 1979 to 1986. His last time in the NBA was in 1991, after having played for the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks. For eight years (2003-2011), he was the assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets.
Family Life
He has a son called Cameron who played college basketball at the University of Syracuse.
Achievements
He won the NBA Rookie of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year Awards in 1977 and 1984 respectively. He is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer.
Trivia
He represented the United States in the 1976 Olympic Games held in Montreal, Canada.
