Adriana Caselotti was an American actress, singer and voice actress who gained recognition for being the voice behind popular Disney character, Snow White, in the animated feature titled, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Family Life
She was born to vocal coach and teacher, Guildo Caselotti and singer, Maria Orefice. She was raised with her elder sister, Louise Caselotti who was also a vocal coach and an opera singer.
She married four different times, with her first husband being Robert Chard whom she married in 1945 but divorced later on. She married actor Norval Mitchell in 1952, however he died in 1972, leaving her to marry Dr Joseph Dana Costigan, who also died 10 years later. Her final marriage was with Florian St. Pierre in 1989, but this ended in divorce.
Achievements
She was honored as a Disney Legend in 1994.

Caselotti authored a book titled, Do You Like to Sing?
Over the period of her active career, she struggled with gaining more opportunities because she signed a restrictive contract for providing the voice for Disney character, Snow White. This meant she could not work on any other television production, film or radio show.
