American actress Adrienne Shelly began her career in 1989 when she portrayed the Audry character in Hal Hartley-directed film titled “The Unbelievable Truth”. Following her impressive performance, she was cast in many movies and television series like “The Atlantis Conspiracy” and “The Road Killers”.

Aside from her performances in front of the cameras, Shelly has also recorded some successes behind the scenes. She directed and wrote the award-winning film “Waitress” which was released in 2007.
