About Alain Ducasse
He is a well recognized French chef in the world. He owns and handles a few restaurants as well.
Personal Life
His education began on a farm, then before his teenage years, he received training as an apprentice at Pavillon Landais restaurant. He later got the chance to study at Bordeaux Hotel School.
Career
He started working at a restaurant owned by Michel Guérard. Not long after, he got a job to assist Roger Vergé at Moulin De Mougins. He later got a great offer to work as a chef at Hôtel de Paris and also handle management which he graciously accepted.
He went on to start an inn named “La Bastide de Moustiers”. In 1996, he started the “Alain Ducasse Restaurant”. He later opened the Alain Ducasse restaurant in Essex Hotel in New York considering the first one was in France. About seven years later, he closed the restaurant to enable him start a Las Vegas restaurant named “Mix”. He also commissioned “Adour” in Washington.
Achievement
He is known to be the first chef to have restaurants in three cities and managing to have three Michelin Stars. He also has achieved twenty-one stars through his career as a chef. He is the second to have achieved that.
