Alan Greenberg directed a documentary about famous reggae artiste, Bob Marley, in 1982 which was entitled “Land of Look Behind”. This work served as Greenberg’s first film. He also helped in the production of numerous films such as “Cape Fear” and “1900”.
Aside from directing, the American was also a renowned writer and published several books like “Heart of Glass” and “Love in Vain: A Vision of Robert Johnson”.
Awards
His documentary was adjudged “Best Documentary” at the Chicago International Film Festivals and it also won him a Golden Hugo Award.
