Amy Irving is an American actress known for her portrayal of Hadass Vishkower from 1983's romantic musical drama film Yentl, for which she received an Academy Award nomination. She is also known for her roles as Isabelle Grossman from 1988's romantic comedy film Crossing Delancey and Emily Sloane from ABC's action series Alias. In addition to her television and film work, she is also known for acting in several Off Broadway and Broadway productions.

She was born to film director Jules Irving and actress Priscilla Pointer. She was married to iconic filmmaker Steven Spielberg from 1985 to 1989. The marriage produced a son named Max. Her second marriage was to film director Bruno Barreto from 1996 to 2005. The marriage produced her second son named Gabriel. In 2007, she got married to filmmaker Kenneth Bowser.
Trivia
She received $100 million in divorce settlement from Steven Spielberg. The divorce settlement ended up being one of the world's most expensive divorce settlements.
