She is well-known as the ex-wife of R. Kelly who used to be his backup dancer as well. She appeared in the music videos for some of his songs such as Summer Bunnies (Remix), You Remind Me of Something and Thoia Thoing.
In 2015, Andrea made a cameo appearance as a dance instructor in the movie, Chocolate City. She has also featured in television series such as Xscape: Still kicking It!, Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta and Surviving R. Kelly.
Family Life
She and R.Kelly had three children from their marriage; Joann, Jaah and Robert. In September 2005, she applied for a restraining order against R.Kelly because he assaulted her upon finding out that she did not want to be married to him anymore. Their divorce became official in 2009.

She has made it known that the abuse she suffered while being married to R. Kelly was very severe that at a point in time she considered committing suicide.
