Angus Young is a guitarist who is best known for being a co-founder and lead guitarist of the legendary hard rock band AC/DC. Rolling Stone magazine ranked him among the greatest guitarist of all time. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame as a member of AC/DC
Career
He began his musical career playing guitar in a group called Kantuckee. At the age of 18, he and his brother formed AC/DC.
Family Life
He is the son of William and Margaret Young. He is the youngest of his parents’ eight children. In 1980, he married his wife Ellen.
Trivia
Although he is a smoker, he does not drink any alcoholic beverages.
He was named the Best Australian Guitarist of All Time in 2012 by the Australian Guitar Magazine.
