Ann Miller was signed by RKO Pictures at age 13 which marked the beginning of her rise to glory. She was one of the most popular actresses in the 1940s and 50s. She starred in many films, television, and stage productions after making her acting debut in 1934.
The American actress received lots of positive reviews for her role as Ann in the musical revue titled “Sugar Babies”. She further gained fame for her role as Hilda Manny in the 1938 film “Room Service”. Her last film role was in the David Lynch-directed production titled “Mulholland Drive” which was released in 2001.
Family
At birth she was named Johnnie Lucille Collier and was raised by her parents John Allison Collier and Clara Emma Birdwell. Her third marriage was to Arthur Cameron which lasted from 1961 to 1962. She had a child with her first husband Reese Llewellyn Milner, but the baby died after three hours. She was also married to Bill Moss.
