About Ann Reinking
At just 12 years old, actress, dancer and choreographer Ann Reinking debuted professionally as a performer through the ballet pantomime, “Giselle”. 7 years later, she made her premiere appearance on Broadway and went on to garner fame through the musicals “Over Here!”, “Coco” and “Chicago” amongst others. She is also known for her big-screen appearances in “Annie” and “Micki & Maude”.
Family Life
She was the daughter of Walter Reinking and Frances Harrison. She had three ex-husbands; Larry Small, Herbert Allen Jr, and James Stuart, with whom she had a son called Chris. In 1994, she got married for the fourth time, to Peter Talbert.
She was also in a six-year relationship with musical theatre choreographer and dancer Bob Fosse from 1972 to 1978.
Achievements
For her performance in “Over Here!”, she won a Theatre World Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Clarence Derwent Award. She also received a Tony Award for choreographing “Chicago” in 1997.
