Career Highlights
Diamond started off her television career in Bristol with BBC West and later moved to ATV Today as a journalist and presenter in 1979. Three years later, she worked with English newsreader Nick Owen as presenter of “Central News” for ATV.
The presenter left to work full-time on TV Weekly in 1990, after having previously been with TV-am. Diamond and Owen presented the BBC daytime show “Good Morning with Anne and Nick”, which aired from 1992 to 1996.
Aside from her television career, she was involved in radio work in the late 1990s, presenting with veteran British journalists Sir Nicholas Lloyd and Tommy Boyd on London’s LBC. She also presented her individual lunchtime show in 1999 for some months before leaving the station.
In 2005, she appeared in dramas such as “Snow White” in which she played the Wicked Queen together with English actor Ken Morley.
