Personal Life
She started singing when she was just seven years old and was so impressed that she started participating in competitions. At the age of twelve, she joined the school choir and travelled all around France. She started taking music seriously and took a few lessons. She later got married to Rob Snijders.
Career
She started the band “Bad Breath” in 1992 with Deniz Cagdas who was also a singer and guitarist. In 1994, she became a part of the group “The Gathering” and gained recognition with them. She went on to work with different people including “Devin Townsend” who she collaborated with to release albums like “Addicted”, “Transcendence” and “Sky Blue” among others. In 2011, she released the track “Feel Alive” and “Circles”. The following year, she worked on the album “Everything is changing” and shared it with her fans. She also released “The Darkest Skies are the Brightest” in 2021.
Trivia
Despite sharing a name with Dianne van Giersergen who is also a musician, it has been clarified that they don’t share any family connection.
