About Anthony Glise
Anthony Glise is a distinguished concert classical guitarist, composer and an author. He is credited as the first American-born guitarist to win the first prize at the International Toscanini Competition in Italy.

In 2010, he became a professor of classical guitar at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Career Facts
He has authored more than 60 books and held concerts at Carnegie Hall in Lincoln Center and across Europe. He has also directed different music festivals such as Six Strings and the Spirit in France. With his radio program, which started airing from the late 1980s, he has interviewed leading names in the music industry such as Pepe Romero, Christopher Parkening and Sir Neville Marriner.
Glise has published numerous musical editions for the Willis Music Company in Cincinnati.
