Arturo was an Italian who was into music and worked as a conductor. He was very notable around the 20th Century.
Personal Life
He was interested in music when he was a young child and eventually got into a local music conservatory in his town of birth on scholarship. He did not really like being there because they had conditions he did not like. In 1897, he got married to Carla De Martini. It was rumored that there were infidelities on his side but they stayed together till she passed on.
Career
In 1886, he joined an opera company’s orchestra and toured South America. He returned to Italy and continued to work as a conductor. He later became a part of the Metropolitan Opera in 1908 and worked as a conductor in different places for some time.
Death
He suffered from a stroke when he was in his late eighties but did not survive and passed away.
