About Barry Switzer
Widely recognized as the greatest linebackers of all time, Barry Switzer is also one of the best American football coaches. During his successful playing career, he was known for representing the University of Arkansas. Owing to his exceptional football talent, he began coaching before graduating from college, beginning as an Assistant Coach at the University of Arkansas in 1960. He then proceeded to the University of Oklahoma, where he spent 16 seasons as the head coach. He is well known for his coaching work with the Dallas Cowboys, a college football club.
