About Beaver Harris
Beaver Harris was the founder of The 360 Degree Music Experience which had renowned musicians like Jimmy Garrison, Buster Williams, and Don Pullen. He helped them to release an album in 1972 titled “In: Sanity”.
His relationship with jazz saxophonist Archie Shepp made him one of the most popular musicians of his time. The celebrated American drummer also performed with other well-known names such as Sonny Rollins, Marion Brown, and Sheila Jordan.
Family
His three children with Glo Harris were Portia Harris, William Godvin Harris III, and Verna Harris Vaughn.
Death
He battled with prostate cancer which later caused his death in 1991.
