About Ben Stein
Benjamin Jeremy Stein is an actor, writer, comedian and television personality. He made his entertainment debut after having worked as a professional speechwriter for former US presidents Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon.
His best-known works as an entertainer include his roles as Dr Arthur Newman in the superhero comedy films “The Mask” and “Son of the Mask”.
He also starred as an economics teacher in the teen comedy film, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. He is noted for hosting the television game show, “Win Ben Stein’s Money”.
Family Life
He was born to economist Herbert Stein and homemaker Mildred Fishman. He and his wife, Alexandra Denman, were divorced in 1974 but remarried three years later.
Achievements
In 1999, he won the Daytime Emmy Award for his work on “Win Ben Stein’s Money”.
