About Berry Berenson
Berinthia Berenson worked briefly as a fashion model in the late 1960s before she ventured into freelance photography. As a photographer, her work got featured in magazines such as Vogue, Life, Newsweek and Glamour in the early 1970s. She also became an actress following her studies at The American Place Theatre and appeared in films such as “Remember My Name”, “Cat People” and “Winter Kills”.
Family Life
She was the daughter of socialite Gogo Schiaparelli and shipping executive Robert Lawrence Berenson. She was also the granddaughter of prominent fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli and the sister of model Marisa Berenson. She had two sons with her husband, actor Anthony Perkins.
Death
She was on-board American Airlines Flight 11 when it was crashed into the twin towers following its hijack by terrorists on September 11, 2001.
