Sammie Marquez Benson, known professionally as Blac Youngsta, is an American rapper. He became known after he made waves with his 2017 singles Hip Hopper and Booty which both made appearances on his studio debut album titled 2.23. The album featured artists such as French Montana, Travis Scott and Lil Yachty. He got signed by both the Collective Music Group (CMG) and Epic Records labels.
Achievements
In 2019, Blac Youngsta’s single, Booty, received the Award Winning R&B/Hip Hop Songs award at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. The single also peaked at number 73 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2017 and received a Gold certification on November 21, 2018 from the Recording Industry Association of America.
