Playing Career
Grich made his first Major League Baseball appearance on June 29, 1970 for the Baltimore Orioles. He played with the team for six seasons from 1970 to 1976. After playing as a free agent, he later signed with the California Angels in 1977 and played with them until 1986. He made his last appearance with the California Angels on October 2, 1986.
Honors
He became a member of the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame in 1988 and the Angels Hall of Fame in 1998. The four-time Gold Glove Award winner was honored with the Silver Slugger Award in 1981.
