About Bobby Portis
Bobby Portis is an American trained basketball player. After he ended his college career with the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2015 after two seasons, he was selected by the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in that year’s draft. He lasted for four seasons with the Chicago Bulls before they traded him to the Washington Wizards in February 2019. In July, he was signed by the New York Nicks. He had a stellar high school career with the Hall High School basketball team between 2009 and 2013.
Family Life
He has three brothers; Jared, Jamaal and Jarod. He is also the nephew of Jared Hicks, who featured in the Missouri State University basketball team.
Achievements
He won the Arkansas Mr. Basketball award in 2013. Portis was also named in the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman team and in the First-team in the All-Southeastern Conference in 2014. In 2015, he received the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year award.
