Career
Though he grew up in a poor community, Bobby Womack gained a passion for music early on. He began playing guitar at a young age, and he even toured with his brothers in a gospel group called the Womack Brothers at age 10. He stayed with the group as he grew up, but had eventually had more success with his own solo career. He has recorded many albums in varied styles, and even recorded the original version of the Rolling Stones' hit “It's All Over Now.”
