Bolo Yeung is a Chinese martial arts film actor best known for playing the role of the villain in numerous Hong Kong martial arts films. His most notable kung fu film roles include Bolo from 1973’sEnter the Dragon and Chong Li from 1988's Bloodsport.
Trivia
Prior to entering into the Hong Kong film industry, he was a competitive bodybuilder who won the Mr. Hong Kong Bodybuilding Championship in 1967. He went on to defend the title for approximately ten years.
He escaped communism in China in the 1960s by swimming all the way from China to Hong Kong.
He was a student and a close friend of the late iconic martial artist and actor Bruce Lee.
