About Booba
Booba is a stage moniker of Élie Yaffa, a French rapper and entrepreneur. He burst onto the French rap scene in 1994 when he formed Lunatic, a rap duo with fellow French rapper, Ali. He had previously worked briefly as a breakdancer.
As a member of Lunatic, Booba is credited with the 2000 album, Mauvais œil.
His first solo album, Temps mort, was released in 2002, a year before Lunatic disbanded. In 2004, he established an independent record label known as Tallac Records in 2004.
Ünkut is the name of the streetwear brand which he created.
Family Life
He was born to a Senegalese father and a French mother.
Achievements
As of May 29, 2020, his albums Trône and Futur had been certified platinum thrice while three other albums of his; Nero Nemesis, D.U.C. and Lunatic had received double platinum certifications.
