About Brad Bird
Ian Holm is an American filmmaker and animator who began his career in the entertainment industry as a creative consultant on the popular animated television series The Simpsons. He went on to direct some of Hollywood’s most commercially successful films such as 2004's The Incredibles, 2007'sRatatouille and 2011's Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
Family Life
He is the youngest of the four children born to Marjorie and Philip Cullen Bird. In 1988, he got married to Elizabeth Canney and fathered three children with her.
Awards
In 2005, his film The Incredibles won him a number of awards, including an Academy Award, a Saturn Award and four Annie Awards.
Trivia
In 2007, he was included in EW's list of The 50 Smartest People in Hollywood.
