About Bradley Nowell
He was an American lead singer, musician and guitarist, who is noted to have played with the ska punk band, Sublime. His interest for music was birthed right from a tender age. He was exposed to sounds such as reggae and dancehall, but soon developed a rigid interest in rock music.
Bradley Nowell’s musical career kick-started as soon as he learned how to play the guitar. Having played with several bands, he founded the band, Sublime alongside drummer, Bud Gaugh and bassist, Eric Wilson. Their debut album, "40oz. to Freedom" was released in 1992.
Family Life
His parents were Jim and Nancy Nowell. He got married to Troy Dendekker in 1996, a short-lived marriage that lasted for just one week before his death. He had a sister named Kellie Nowell. He had a son named Jakob James Nowell.
Achievements
Nowell received the BMI TV Music Award in 2005.
His band picked up the "Best Alternative Video" at the 1997 VMA Awards. His group also won the "Modern Rock Artist" at the 1997 Billboard Music Awards.
