About Brian Billick
Brian Billick was a football player during his time in college. He joined the National Football League in 1977 as a player of San Francisco 49ers. His unsuccessful career came to an end that same year after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys, which he joined from the 49ers. He mostly operated at the tight end position.
Coaching career
Billick has recorded most of his successes as a coach which has made him one of the most-respected personalities in the NFL. His breakthrough came in 1999 when he was hired by the Baltimore Ravens as their head coach. He helped the team to win the Super Bowl two years later after defeating the New York Giants.
Before joining the Ravens, he worked with the Minnesota Vikings as a tight end coach, and offensive coordinator. He also coached a number of colleges including the University of Redlands, and Utah State University.
In 2022, he was appointed as the advisor to Arizona State’s head coach, Herm Edwards.
Personal Life
He had two children, Keegan and Aubrey with Kim Billick. The former was the wife of basketball star Jon Leuer.
Education
He graduated from Redlands High School before joining the U.S. Air Force Academy. He later enrolled at Brigham Young University where he played on their football team as a linebacker.
Achievements
In 2019, he became a member of the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor. He was also voted the PFWA NFL Assistant Coach of the Year in 1998.

He has also pursued a career in television broadcasting and has worked with organizations like ABC Sports, ESPN, and Fox.
