He was an award-winning writer and broadcaster from England who gained acclaim for the many books he worked on.
Personal Life
Brian Brendon Talbot Cleeve was the name he was given when his parents had him. He was the second son of Josephine Talbot and Edward Cleeve. At a very young age, his mom passed away and he went on to live with her parents. Not long after, he got into Selwyn house then continued his education at St. Edward’s School. Even though he took school seriously, it was not easy for him because he decided to go against the ways that were normal to society.
Career
He became a private soldier of the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders when he was just seventeen years old. He later worked with the King’s African Rifles as a second lieutenant in Kenya but when he chanced on his colleagues mistreating an African prisoner and spoke against it, he was court marshalled and jailed for some time.
He loved to write too so he worked on and released a lot of books including “Violent Death of a Bitter Englishman”, “A Question of Inheritance”, “Birth of a Dark Soul”, and “You Must Never Go Back”.
