About Brooke Greenberg
Brooke Greenberg was an American girl known for the extreme abnormality in her cognitive and physical growth. Unlike normal children who develop mentally and physically as they get older, Brooke did not. She stopped growing both mentally and physically while she was a baby. She died at the age of 20 still the size of an infant and with the mental capacity of a 1-year-old. Doctors called her strange condition Syndrome X because they did not understand it.
Family Life
She was the third of four girls born to Howard and Melanie Greenberg. According to her father, she stopped growing around the age of four.
Trivia
The official cause of her death was bronchomalacia.
