Buakaw Banchamek is a Thai professional kickboxer known by a number of nicknames such as "Buakaw Por" and "The White Lotus". He is one of Thailand's most famous professional fighters. Besides kickboxing, he is also known as a professional footballer, who joined RBAC F.C. in 2014.
Achievements
Throughout his career as a professional kickboxer, he has won several major titles, including multiple K-1 World MAX, Thai Fight Tournament and Omnoi Stadium titles.
Trivia
In 2006, after winning the K-1 MAX World Grand Prix, he made history by becoming the first fighter to win the title on two occasions.
He featured in the 2010 Thai action movie Yamada: The Samurai of Ayothaya.
