Background
Meek started playing guitars in Texas as a young boy while at Berklee College of Music, he focused on folk music.
Career
Meek released his debut EP “a-sides and b-sides” with fellow musician Adrianne Lenker and formed the band Big Thief in 2015 with Lenker and Max Oleartchik. The following year, they released their debut album “Masterpiece” and in 2019 their album “U.F.O.F.” was nominated for the 2019 Grammy Award for “Best Alternative Music Album”.
Meek released his solo album “Two Saviors” in 2021 and was part of Bob Dylan’s film “Shadow Kingdom: The Early Songs of Bob Dylan” the same year.
