Widely regarded as one of the best rock drummers in music history, Butch Trucks served and continues to serve as a model for many aspiring drummers even after his passing.
Early encouragement from his junior high school band director ignited his enthusiasm for drumming. He first played in several bands before joining The Allman Brothers Band, to which he made a big contribution with the publication of numerous top-charting songs including "Seven Turns," "Eat a Peach," "One Way Out," "Shades of Two Worlds," and "Reach for the Sky."
