Calvin Johnson, also known by the nickname “Megatron”, is a retired American professional footballer who made a name for himself with his glittering National Football League (NFL) career with the Detroit Lions from 2007 until his retirement in 2015. Prior to his illustrious NFL career, he had an equally successful college career with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team of the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He is the son of Arica and Calvin Johnson.
Achievements
During his college career, he won both the Paul Warfield Trophy and the Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2006.
Between 2010 and 2015, he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl six times.
Trivia
In 2012, he signed an eight-year extension contract with the Detroit Lions for a whopping $132,000,000. The contract went down in history as one of the biggest sports contracts of all time.
