Family Life
Calvin was born to father, Leo Klein and mother, Flore Stern. He got married to a textile designer, Jayne Centre in 1965 – their marriage eventually ended in 1974.
He married his assistant, Kelly Rector in 1986 – a marriage that lasted 20 years until its dissolution in 2006. He is noted to have a daughter named Marci Klein, who is an American television producer.

Calvin Klein became an inductee of the "American Hall of Fame of Fashion" in 1975.
