Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach nicknamed "Great Bach” was a legendary German musician, composer, pianist, and philosopher.
Born into a family of great musicians he developed an early interest in music as the only surviving son of maestro musician Johann Sebastian Bach.
He was also known for composing ingenious keyboard sonatas and his enormous contribution to Protestant Church music during the 18th century.
Works such as "Achtzehn Probe-Stücke in Sechs Sonaten," "Six Sonates for the Clavecin à l'usage des Dames," and "Sechs Sonaten fürs Clavier mit veränderten Reprisen" are only a few of his countless successful keyboard sonatas.
