About Carmine Giovinazzo
Carmine Giovinazzo is an American actor, painter, writer and musician. His dream of playing professional baseball was dashed when he injured his back while playing on a baseball scholarship in college. He then decided to study acting in order to pursue it professionally. Best known for his portrayal of Danny Messer in “CSI: NY”, he also starred as Scott in the sitcom, “Shasta McNasty”.
Family Life
He was raised by his parents, Nancy and Dominick Giovinazzo in Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York. He is the cousin of actor Larry Romano and filmmaker Buddy Giovinazzo. He was married to actress Vanessa Marcil from 2010 to 2013.
Achievements
His performance in “Shasta McNasty” earned him a People’s Choice Award nomination.
