About Carmit Bachar
Carmit Maile Bachar or Foxy Doll, as she is sometimes called, is a famed American singer and dancer who is known for being a member of the girl group called Pu*sycat Dolls.
Personal Life
Bachar was born to a Jewish Israeli father and mixed-race mother. Her mother was a descendant of Dutch, Chinese and Indonesians. Her parents were dancers. At a young age, she liked gymnastics and took part in competitions. During the 1992 Olympic trials, she participated and came in fifth place. She went on to study dance, piano and music at Hamilton Academy of music.
When she was born, she had a cleft palate and lip and was bullied for it in school so when she got the chance, she got surgery to correct it.
Career
She got interested in acting and featured on a few shows including “The Scorpion King” and “13 Going on 30”. In 1995, she became a part of the Pu*sycat Dolls. She stayed with the group for five years. The group had three lead vocalists in 2006 and she was one of them. In 2008 however, she decided to part ways with the group. Over ten years later, the group reunited and released “React” but went their separate ways again.
