Carole Bayer Sager was still in high school when she wrote her first hit song titled "A Groovy Kind of Love" alongside Toni Wine. After recording a number of singles, the American singer released a self-titled album in 1977. Some of her most popular singles are titled "You're Moving Out Today" and "I'd Rather Leave While I'm in Love".
Collaborations
Aside from her songs, Sager has also found fame as a songwriter. Through this, she has scored a series of hit songs including Melissa Manchester’s "Don't Cry Out Loud" and "Turn Around" by Neil Diamond.

She spent her childhood with her parents Eli Bayer and Anita Nathan Bayer. Her first marriage to Andrew Sager ended in 1978. Between 1982 and 1991, she was married to American composer Burt Bacharach. Since 1996, she has been married to Robert A. Daly, a popular American businessman. She has a son named Christopher Elton Bacharach.
