About Caroline Kennedy
Caroline Kennedy is an American author and diplomat known for being the only surviving child of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Bovier Kennedy. She is also known for being the 29th United States Ambassador to Japan. As an author, she has published a number of books including A Family Christmas and The Right to Privacy, which she co-wrote with Ellen Alderman.
Personal Life
She married designer Edwin Schlossberg in 1986. The marriage produced three children: Rose, Tatiana and John (known as Jack). In 1999, she became the sole surviving member of former President John F. Kennedy's immediate family after her brother John died in a plane crash.
Trivia
She was the inspiration behind singer Neil Diamond's hit song Sweet Caroline. Diamond performed the song for her at her 50th birthday celebration.
