About Charles Rennie Mackintosh
After completing his training in the 1890s, Charles Rennie Mackintosh began his architectural works as an employee of Honeyman & Keppie. His first recognized design was The Lighthouse (formerly called Glasgow Herald Building). He’s considered as one of the influencers of the Secessionism, and Art Nouveau design movements.
