About Charles X of France
Charles X of France reigned as the ruler of the Kingdom of France from 1824 to 1830. As a member of the House of Bourbon, he became the Count of Artois right from birth. In 1814, he was named as the head of the political faction called ‘Ultra-royalists’. It was under his leadership that the July Ordinances were introduced.
