About Chet Walker
The former basketball star Chester Walker rose to fame after becoming the 1967 NBA champion and a 7-time NBA All-Star winner. The small forward achieved such a remarkable feat by playing for a number of teams, from 1962 up until his retirement in 1975.
Early Life and Education
The baseball player lived out his youth in New York, first attending Benton Harbor High School and later graduated from Bradley University in 1962.
Career
The basketball player made his professional debut with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1962. He plied his trade for the 76ers for seven years, during which time he was the NBA All-Rookie First Team and the 2-time Consensus first-team All-American winner. He also won the NBA championship title in 1967. He later moved on to play for the Chicago Bulls from 1969 to 1975.
Walker retired with more than 18,800 points and over 7,000 rebounds.

Walker went on to join the movie industry after his retirement in 1975.
