Having debuted professionally at 19 years old, he fought in the cruiserweight, middleweight and super-middleweight classes. He went unbeaten in his first decade as a professional boxer and is credited with having contributed to the rise of British boxing in the 1990s. He was nicknamed “Simply the Best” and is remembered for his in-ring bravery.
Family Life
He grew up in Jamaica from the age of two months to six years old. His mother’s name was Rachel Scollins. From 1990 to 2005, he was married to Karron Eubank, the mother of his four children. He lost his second son, Sebastian in July 2021. His first son, Chris Jr. is also a professional boxer. Claire Geary, his manager became his wife in 2014 but the marriage was dissolved three years later.
Achievements
He was the WBO middleweight and WBO super-middleweight titles holder for several years in the 1990s.
