Chris Kamara
Chris Kamara is a retired professional player and coach from England who after retirement got recruited by Sky Sports as a broadcaster and football pundit.
He was a hard-tackling midfielder during his 2-decade of playing. He formerly played for Brentford, Leeds United, Portsmouth, and Stoke City, among others.
Following his retirement as a footballer, he became the assistant coach of Bradford City in 1994, and then the manager of one of his former teams, Stoke City.
After his tenure at Stoke City, he resigned and became a commentator for a number of TV and radio stations. Some of the television shows to which he has contributed include “Goals on Sunday”, “John Bishop's Britain”, and “Emmerdale”.
Family
He was born to Alimamy Kindo Kamara. He grew up together with two sisters called George Kamara and Maria Kamara. In 1982, he married Anne Kamara, and birthed two sons: Ben and Jack.
