When she was 12, Foy attended Aylesbury High School. She later studied drama and screen studies at Liverpool John Moore University. She also trained in a one-year program at the Oxford School of Drama.
In her early acting career, she starred in several local productions. She made her international film debut across the pond in the American movie “Season of the Witch” and also received positive reviews for her portrayal of Anne Boleyn in the 2015 short series “Wolf Hall.” But it was Foy’s performance as the young Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix’s hit show “The Crown” that gained her worldwide fame.
