About Claudette Pace
The former TV host and award-winning artist Claudette Pace first rose to international fame when she took the stage at the Eurovision Contest singing her number-one hit "Desire." Her successful political career as a member of the Maltese Parliament tells an intriguing story of her character and versatility.
Music
At the Malta Music Awards in 1995, she was named Best Female Artist. Following her victory at the Malta Song For Europe festival in 2000, with the song "Desire", she embarked on a brief global tour, stopping in Germany, Australia, and Sweden, the host nation for the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest.
She has also worked as a television presenter and is the only person to have worked for three of Malta's largest television networks: One TV, NET TV, and TVM.
Claudette Pace simply gave up her television job to run for office. She won re-election in 2017 and 2022, representing the 8th district under the ticket of the Nationalist Party.

She wed David Buttigieg.
